Abstract

The paper presents theoretical and empirical results of coping strategies` and resources` dynamics research among HIV-infected people. The nature and patterns of coping`s positive/negative dynamics have been described. Coping behaviour specific characteristics in the situation of the disease (HIV infection) have been revealed, its changes are caused by a group of factors, e.g. a stress level experience and stage, a path of infection and receiving therapy are shown as important independent variables.
