Abstract

The problems of diagnostics of extreme and crisis conditions are discussed. The basic concepts “extreme” and “crisis” conditions are described from the position of clinical psychology. General characteristics of these conditions and specific features in every particular case are selected. According to these descriptions, the main directions and tasks of psychodiagnostic extreme and crisis conditions are formulated. The problematic aspects of producing a psychodiagnostic goals and objectives, involving conceptualization of researchers of their theoretical and methodological positions, put forward to the discussion. Issues, which are related to the selection of psychodiagnostic instruments in the field of psychology of crisis and extreme situations and in whole clinical psychology, are submitted for consideration.
