Abstract

The teen years are a period when teenagers separate from their parents. Release from parental care and developing ones independence are the milestones of this age. While common for most teenagers, this emancipation may result in deviant behaviour in some young people. Some qualitative and quantitative features of emancipation in adolescents abusing drugs are discussed.
