In the last decades of the last century due to the remarkable advance of computer technologies analog signals were replaces by digital ones. Though this process was limited at the early stages to the area of scientific research, nowadays it is recognized that “digit” is totally dominating in the human life. In the present situation it seems reasonable to remind those who study speech signal some historical facts concerning the development of spectral analysis of continuous analog signal using analog equipment.

В последние десятилетия прошлого века под влиянием бурного роста компьютерных технологий произошло вытеснение аналоговых сигналов цифровыми. И если вначале этот процесс был ограничен областью научных исследований, то в настоящее время можно говорить о тотальном и повсеместном господстве «цифры» в жизни человека. На этом фоне целесообразно напомнить исследователям речи историю развития спектрального анализа аналогового сигнала с помощью аналоговой аппаратуры.
