К вопросу о реконструкции категории медиопассива в праиндоевропейском языке

Abstract

Статья посвящена вопросу о возможности реконструирования пассивной функции медиального (медиопассивного) залога в праиндоевропейском языке. Автор рассматривает примеры пассивных употреблений медиальных форм глаголов в трех языковых традициях: хеттском, древнегреческом и древнеиндийском языках.

The article addresses the issue of reconstructing the passive function for the middle (mediopassive) voice in PIE. Medial forms with the alleged passive meaning are examined in the three oldest IndoEuropean languages Hittite, Greek and Vedic Sanskrit.
