Сущность и признаки конкурентоспособности региона

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с проблемами конкурентоспособности регионов и их межконкурентной борьбы. Рассмотрено влияние малого бизнеса на конкурентоспособность региона и его роль в развитии конкурентных преимуществ. Приводится сравнение процессов развития регионов в Западной Европе 1950–70-х и в Российской Федерации – в начале 2000-х годов. Также анализируется проблема роли малого бизнеса в формировании экономических кластеров на территории региона. Представлен взгляд на развитие конкурентоспособности региона через создание региональных «экосистем», с представлением групп показателей конкурентоспособности в региональных «экосистемах».

The article discusses the issues related to the problems of competitiveness of regions and their competitive struggle. The influence of small businesses in the region’s competitiveness and its role in the development of competitive advantage are considered. The comparison of the processes of regional development in Western Europe in 1950–70s and in the Russian Federation — in the early 2000s. The role of small business in the formation of regional economic clusters is also considered. It is taken a look at the development of competitiveness of a region through the creation of regional ‘ecosystem’.
