Abstract

The author offers a new approach to teaching computer modeling to students of mathematical specialization using Delphi programming environment. The technique is based on the principles of competence-based approach, interdisciplinary connections of academic disciplines, such as mathematics and computer science, which contributes to the development of research competence and professional practice-orientated education. The article displays how this method can be applied to studying Number theory, a branch of algebra, using Delphi programming environment.
