Abstract

The article considers the main trends of the world Lighter-Than-Air industry to date. The five categories of Lighter-Than-Air products developed and applied today in the world for the security agencies are determined: tethered aerostatic systems; classic manned airships, medium altitude unmanned airships, high-altitude unmanned aerostatic platforms, transport hybrid airships. The article presents a comparative analysis of the main types of Russian and foreign LighterThan-Air products. Consider fields their applications. The article is completed by conclusions about the current trends to create Lighter-Than-Air products.
