In view of the absence of the methods describing the technique of crayfish measurement the ranging of Australian crayfish has been made on the basis of the method of shrimp measurement. The given type of biometric measurement of tropic crayfish defined the difference of morphometric specifications during the transition to the level of reproductive growth at the age of 1+.

Ввиду отсутствия методик, описывающих схему промеров раков, промеры австралийских раков (Cherax quadricarinatus) осуществлялись по методике промеров креветок. Предложенный вариант биометрических промеров тропических раков определил разницу морфометрических показателей при переходе на этап репродуктивной зоны роста в возрасте 1+леток. Библиогр. 3. Ил. 1.
