Abstract

In this article represent the actual problem of split Orthodoxy in Ukraine as a mechanism for the dismantling of the Russian-Ukrainian relations. Based on the involvement of a wide range of sources, it is concluded that the policy division, realized by the Kiev Patriarchate, with the support ethnocratic elites has grounds dating back to the XVII century, the policy polonization Ukrainian lands and, later Ukrainization off Orthodox Church for the construction of an anti-Russian oriented Ukrainian nation.
