Прилагательное в функции определения в языках различных типологий (на материалах кумыкского и английского языков)

Abstract

Данная статья посвящена изучению прилагательного, выполняющего функцию определения в разноструктурных английском и кумыкском языках. В ней исследуются качественные и относительные прилагательные, а также их функционально-семантические особенности. В результате исследования выявлены общие и специфические особенности функционирования прилагательных в атрибутивной функции. На примерах художественной литературы отражается полная картина функционирования прилагательного в различных структурно-семантических предложениях, приведенных на кумыкском и английском примерах. В статье приведены также положения о прилагательном-определении известных научных исследователей.
