Abstract

Статья посвящена исследованию лингвистических особенностей англоязычной проповеди как разновидности теологического дискурса. Автор анализирует некоторые черты композиционной структуры проповеди. Значительное место в статье уделено рассмотрению дискурсивных стратегий порождения и структурирования текста проповеди, а также анализу языковых средств создания эффекта воздействия.

The article looks at some linguistic features of the English sermon. It examines the essential qualities of the composition of sermons treated as a separate type of religious discourse. The article also outlines the range of discourse strategies used for the purpose of structuring sermons; it also examines the language means employed to generate a powerful emotional impact.
