Abstract

The article studies the influence of a three-component modifier of the binding material, containing elastomer, settling resin of wood raw material pyrolysis and an amine type antioxidant, on physical and mechanical properties of bitumen and asphalt concrete. It considers the problems of increasing road bitumen stability to the thermo-oxidative degradation that is one of the stages of the entire complex of physical and chemical processes occuring under the deterioration of petroleum-bitumen compositions within bituminous concrete pavements. Industrial antioxidants and settling resin of wood raw material pyrolysis are used in the work to achieve the effect. Contribution of complex modifier components to the improvement of binding material properties is shown.
