The comparative analysis of life span of population of Kaluga oblast, Russia in 1990-2010 was implemented. It is demonstrated that lag of oblast on this indicator occurs mainly at the expense of rural population. The anomalously low life span of rural population of Kaluga oblast as compared both with urban population and rural population of Russia was established.
Проведен сравнительный анализ продолжительности жизни населения Калужской области и России в 1990—2010 гг. Показано, что отставание области по этому показателю происходит в основном за счет сельского населения. Выявлена аномально низкая продолжительность жизни сельского населения Калужской области по сравнению как с горожанами, так и с сельским населением России.
