Abstract

The article analyzes the deconstruction of poetry as ontology in the postmodernist philosophical discourse from the viewpoint of the metaphysics of absence concept. Postmodernists see abandoning the concept of the metaphysics of presence as the most promising way for the evolution of philosophy. The author believes that building a new ontology by way of breaking the bond between the objective reality and the language is untenable and defends the idea of the end of philosophy as an ontology resulting from the treatment of the objective reality as a poetical work.
