Abstract

В статье изложен синергетический взгляд на процессы эволюции морфологической системы английского языка. Рассмотрена парадигматика средств выражения числа древнеанглийского периода и её изменения в среднеанглийский период. Обсуждаются некоторые лингвистические и экстралингвистические факторы изменения морфологической парадигмы в английском языке
