Модернизация как процесс. Проблемы модернизации жилых кварталов постройки 1930-1950-х годов в городах Красноярского края

Abstract

In many cities of Krasnoyarsk region the quarters constructed during 1930-1950 have remained. Now these quarters are considered as examples of urban development specific to the certain historical period. Having become outdated morally and physically, many apartment houses have kept considerable safety factor of designs and can serve as a subject to modernization. Modernization is a complicated process of development which optimally should result in physical and esthetic perfection of a building, improvement of the architecturally-spatial organization of the old quarters. Modernization of historical quarters pursues the goal of sanitary-and-hygienic improvement of environment, perfection of a volume-spatial composition, creation of comfortable space for inhabitants. For this purpose it is required to solve a number of practical problems. The first one is to develop a program of old constructions usage in a new architectural and social context. Historically developed areas will always be important for modern structure of any Siberian city and will influence its further development. The city gets the originality of its architectural shape by virtue of carefully kept and actively used old building.
