Abstract

The paper looks at the international experience of production and supply of tools (Tool Management), which positions the supplier as a “technological integrator” who is responsible for performing the technological process, controlling terms of delivery, placing orders to third party manufacturers and competitors, managing inventory, transporting goods, providing information about expenditure, optimizing business processes in order to keep the total cost of resources to a bare minimum. The authors suggest using the principles of logistics to build an efficient system of tool supply at industrial enterprises.
