
The article is devoted to the investigation of the account-books of Sarov Monastery. The purpose of the article is to analyze changes in the budget of the monastery during the examined period. The archive documents give an opportunity to study the means of increasing income and expenditure as well as money resources passing through the monastery treasury. According to these data the part of the budget-forming items is exposed. The author comes to the conclusion that monastery economy adapted successfully to new economy conditions.
Данная статья посвящена приходо-расходным книгам Саровского монастыря середины XIX начала ХХ вв. Цель данной работы проанализировать изменения в бюджете Сарова в рассматриваемый период. Архивные документы позволяют изучить источники дохода, основные статьи расхода, денежные суммы, проходящие через монастырскую казну. На их основе выявляется доля тех или иных статей в формировании бюджета, а также их изменения. Автор приходит к выводу, что Саров довольно успешно приспособился к новым экономическим условиям.
