Abstract

The data obtained as result of analysis of the absolute and relative muscle mass, average monthly gain rate and the coefficient of absolute muscle mass of skeleton sections and the whole skeleton in Stavropolsky lambs in the South Urals are submitted. It is shown that the dynamics of muscle tissue accumulation in the lambs under trial is in full conformity with genetic principles of meat qualities development in the above sheep carcasses.
