
Word-Building Characteristics of Musical Terminology in the Russian Language I. Eshmatova,Key words: terminology, word-building characteristics, structural types of models, units of language, word-building analysis The article dwells on word-building characteristics of musical terminology in the Russian language in its modern state and historic development. The goals of word-building analysis are an establishment of ties, a correlation of morphemes constituting the word and a revelation of a word-building type. The revelation of word-building characteristics of musical terminology of the Russian language is carried out through this very analysis. Different types of word-building suffixal, suffixal-prefixal ones are analyzed separately. Special attention is paid to the morphological way of word formation and the processes of simplification, replacement, diffusion, complication.
