Abstract

In the given article on the basis of the analysis of the original Russian and German documents the author gives a brief consideration of the military operating plans of Kaiser Germany which were worked out by the headquar-ters of the Admiralty at the end of 1904 the beginning of 1905. He describes the peculiarities of the military and political situation of their creation, estimates the content of the documents and defines the extent of the realization of the tasks, set in the analyzed sources for the Navies of the II-nd Reich at the turning-point of the international life. The general peculiarity of the German naval operat-ing plans of this period is noted and the factors, influenc-ing it, are fixed. A common characteristic of the opera-tional plans of the Germans was the lack of clear and detailed elaboration, owing to rapid developments and the limited funds to conduct full-scale and successful military operations.
