Abstract

The article covers a concept of particular assignment of an investigator, which may be given to both another investigator and the whole body (public prosecutor''s office or police investigative division) of the district, in which the search or investigative activities have to be carried out. Special attention is paid to the issues arising in the course of execution of certain procedural actions beyond the place of preliminary investigation. The author analyzes in detail the criminal procedure legislation of the CIS countries concerning the particular assignment of an investigator.
