Статья посвящена советскому этапу развития Карельского перешейка, анализу культурного состояния финской территории и предпринимаемых усилий Советского государства в решении этих сложных проблем в первые послевоенные годы. Как известно, культура в СССР всегда финансировалась по остаточному принципу, эта ситуация была характерна и при возрождении присоединенных территорий в восстановительный период.

The Soviet period of the development of Karelian isthmus is regarded and the cultural situation of the Finnish territory is analysed as well as the efforts of the Soviet state in the solution of these problems during the first postwar years. Culture was always poorly financed in the USSR, the revival of the attached territories during the restoration period developing under the same conditions.
