We have analyzed the specifics of self-disclosure in the Internet and drown the line of distinction between two levels of estimative self-disclosure. In the course of our research we conducted content analysis of more than 400 blogs kept by English-speaking and Russian-speaking users, and the results gave us the opportunity to detect a number of specific features that characterize deep or superficial type of self-disclosure. Besides we managed to reveal the differences between English-speaking and Russian-speaking bloggers that can be associated with the peculiarities of national mentality.
