Abstract

Periodicals of the Russian Spiritual Missions were influential means of distribution of the orthodox doctrine. They promoted consolidation of believers. Reflected Orthodoxy history, telling about events in life of Missions. This research is devoted to the «Chinese blessed messenger», a publication of the Russian Spiritual Mission in China. The author sees the task to show how activity of the Russian Spiritual Mission and life of the Chinese Orthodoxy on the example of the published materials of different type was reflected in pages of the magazine. Article contains volume quotes that is explained by specifics of a research task. Quotes represent the valuable material on Orthodoxy history in China introduced into scientific circulation.

Периодические издания Российских Духовных Миссий были влиятельным средством распространения православного учения. Они способствовали консолидации верующих. Отражали историю православия, рассказывая о событиях в жизни Миссий. Данное исследование посвящено журналу «Китайский благовестник», печатному органу Российской Духовной Миссии в Китае. Автор видит своей задачей показать, как отражалась на страницах журнала деятельность Российской Духовной Миссии и жизнь китайского православия на примере изданных материалов разного типа. Статья содержит объемные цитаты, что объясняется спецификой исследовательской задачи. Цитаты представляют собой ценный материал по истории православия в Китае, вводимый в научный оборот.
