Abstract

The article highlights the actual issues of interconnections and mutual influence of the literatures of the two ancient peoples of Central Asia-Kyrgyzes and Tajiks. It is elicited that the period of the 50-ies 80-ies of the XX-th century was the most intensive one of literary mutual ties. The author demonstrates the role of many well-known Kyrgyz and Tajik men-of-letters in historically preconditioned necessity of peace, concord and cultural dialogue between the two fraternal nations; here we come across such names as A. Tokombayev, M. Tursunzade, Ch. Aytmatov, A. Sayfullayev, K. Malikov, Kh. Sodikulov, R. Shukurbekov, A. Bakhori, A. Toktomushev; the name of the Kazakh prose-writer M. Auezov being encluded into this list too. The elicilation of literary interconnections helps Tajik and Kyrgyz literatures penetrate deeper into the essence of literary processes, into the peculiarities of their development. Tajik-Kyrgyz interconnections refer to no ethnically close peoples. But literary productions of the two neighbouring republics are close to each other with life material, problemic-thematic grounds, genre-stylistic peculiarities. This factor is caused, first of all, with common life conditions, proximity of literary and folklore traditions, aesthetic outlook of the peoples.
