Abstract

The article discusses important aspects of the problem of social determinism. The goal is characterized as a product of a multi-faceted reflection of reality, as an ideal informational reason that links together the components of human activity and directing it to achieve the required future. The author analyzes the goal structure, the correlation of cognitive, perceptional and imaginative, emotional and volitional elements in its content. When describing social goals the author considers the interaction of spontaneous aspirations of the representatives of various social groups and movements of promising projects for society modernization that have been theoretically developed by the leaders.
