Abstract

Preeclampsia (PE) is a severe complication of pregnancy and occupies a leading place in the structure of causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. The pathomorphological features of placentas, depending on the severity of preeclampsia was determined. Investigated 25 placentas of women with pregnancy complicated by PE moderate (I gr.) and 21 the placenta in severe PE (II gr.). The control‘s group (III gr.) was 19 placentas from women with pregnancies not complicated by PE. From general pathological processes in placentas compared groups dominated the violation of maternal blood flow. In severe PE maternal disorders of blood flow was characterized by central localization, bigger space (more than 23%) of pathological changes and developed on the background of the immature process of compensation. Significantly more frequently in severe preeclampsia diagnosed acute and chronic decompensated placental insufficiency.
