Abstract

The article presents the 2-year study, characterizing the stability of the soft (Triticum aestivum) and durum wheat (Triticum durum) from the American collection USDA-ARS to one of the most dangerous disease of this culture Puccinia triticina Erikss. As a result, research in the article, the wheat varieties are characterized by different type of resistance. Studies on selection of donors and sources of stability collections of wheat USDA-ARS to the leaf rust pathogen conducted on basis of an infectious kennel Research Institute of Phytopathology (Moscow region), using international methodologies. Thus, the results on the stability of wheat to the pathogen are adapted to the conditions of the Central Region
