Abstract

The article contemplates the consequences of significantly intensified in the beginning of the 21th century labor migration. The definitions of migration and labor migration are provided in the paper. Native and foreign studies about labor migration and its influence on sending and receiving societies are analyzed. The report zeroed in on changes are faced by importers and exporters of human resources. The consequences of labor migration are various, but convergence in remuneration of labor in sending and receiving societies and subsequent economic development leveling are their common grounds.
