
The submitted work is devoted to the analysis of the restricted practice of the soviet censorship, its influence on the character of the reports of American journalists from the USSR during the 1920-1930-s. The author pays attention to the effect of subjective factors in evaluation of events in the USSR, which were connected with the illusions and delusions of the correspondents.
Представлен анализ ограничительной практики советской цензуры, ее влияния на характер сообщений американских журналистов из Советского Союза в 1920–1930-е годы. Предмет анализа – действие субъективных факторов при оценке событий в СССР, связанных с иллюзиями и заблуждениями корреспондентов.
