Abstract

The main aspects of iron ore deposits development at depths reaching 1,000 m in conditions of rock shocks and their consequences mitigation, in particular, the stressstrain state of a geological fault and the occurrence of mining-tectonic rock shocks. The results of the mine openings condition survey during mass explosion are given. Usage practice of the level forced collapse system with vibrational output of ore is consider. Rock shock origin reasons and their influence on labor productivity and labor safety are described. Methodical basis of the efficient geological technique of ore mining in the given conditions are suggested. It is stated that usage of level forced collapse mining system with extraction of the whole ore body without leaving pillars allows to control the rock pressure due to the gob area blocking with the collapsed rocks.
