Abstract

At the present stage of development of fencing, the changes in technique of the competitive means of the conducting fights by foil fencers are observed. It is connected with application of the pricks with the increased complexity which are carried out by continuous movement of a hand with its considerable bending in a wrist joint (to the right-down, to the left-down or up-to the left) and (when performing protective and reciprocal actions) with strong bending of a hand back in an elbow and humeral joint in the closed sector, or in area of a struck hard-hitting surface and inconvenient for the opponent. Therefore, there is need in more profound studying of fencing receptions technique on the basis of studying of features of the work of skeletal muscles of fencers when performing technical actions. For the solution of the matter the method of a superficial electromyography is effective.
