Христианские имена библейского происхождения в письменных текстах киевской эпохи

Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of the proper names recorded in church and secular manuscripts of the Kiev period system. The structure of monosyllabic man's Christian names of a biblical origin is considered on the basis of the eleven texts under consideration. The article also provides historical, linguistic and etymological comments.

Статья посвящена описанию системы личных собственных имен, зафиксированных в церковных и светских памятниках письменности Киевской эпохи. На материале одиннадцати исследуемых текстов рассматривается состав однословных мужских христианских имен библейского происхождения, даются комментарии историко-лингвистического и этимологического характера.
