Abstract

The modern theory of the genealogy of man bases on a synthesis of knowledge accumulated by natural and arts disciplines. The frequent distrust of the Russian society towards the picture of natural science of anthropological sociogenesis can be found among highly educated people, cultural workers, and common people. This problem has led to the writing of this article. In this regard, a compilation of material from the history of anthropogeny (from the work of Anaximander to the works of Charles Darwin) is presented below. This is done to show how the scientific view of the genealogy of man was formed and what place a human being occupies in nature.
