Abstract

Morphological peculiarity comparison and genotype variant frequency determination on phenotypic expression in the populations of random mating dogs in such cities as Kharkov (Eastern Europe, Ukraine) and Omsk (Western Siberia, Russia) is conducted. It is revealed that the dogs with short hair of the wild type (with undercoat) (up to 84,5 ± 2,10% in Omsk), agouti locus A (as, ag, ay) (up to 24,2 ± 2,49% in Omsk) prevail, that indicates the resistance tooutand intrapopulation stress. White spotting is widespread (up to 68,3 ± 4,15% in Kharkov). Geographically distant populations are the most significant among-population genetic differences in loci A, B, E, S, D, Wh, Wa Σdij = 0,094.
