The article is devoted to the research of factors influencing on arrival and modern processes of the German population quantity reduction on the Transbaikalie. The authors analysed the influence of objective factors, such as geopolitical, historical factors and have come to the conclusion that historical memory of modern Germans of Transbaikalie is an objective factor assisting their departure from the region, staying in which was considered by their ancestors a severe and unfair punishment. In the article it is proved, that an objective factor that influences on the migration of the Russian Germans is a factor of modern populations migration from Transbaikalie, related to worsening of demographic and economic situation on the territory of the region. As the materials of the article testify, cultural and ethnic dissolution of Germans is assisted by the terms of residence in a city, where the Germans do not differ from the majority of the Russian-language population. At the same time the content of the article proves that there is a subjective factor which provides not only the preservation of the Germans in Transbaikalie, but their joining up due to patriotic attitude towards Russia and Transbaikalie, as well as their wish to revive national culture and language here. The interest in the revival of German culture in Transbaikalie is seen in the desire of the Germans on the territory of Transbaikalie to active participation in public life and interaction with the widest social, ethnic and religious environment

Статья посвящена исследованию факторов, влияющих на прибытие и современные процессы сокращения численности немецкого населения Забайкальского края. Авторы проанализировали влияние объективных факторов, таких как геополитический, исторический и пришли к выводу о том, что историческая память современных немцев Забайкалья является объективным фактором, способствующим их выезду из региона, пребывание в котором они и их предки считали суровым и несправедливым наказанием. Доказывается, что объективным фактором, который влияет на миграцию российских немцев, является фактор современной миграции населения из Забайкальского края, связанной с ухудшением демографической и экономической ситуации на территории региона. Как свидетельствуют материалы статьи, культурному и этническому растворению немцев способствуют условия проживания в городе, где немцы почти ничем не отличаются от большинства русскоязычного населения. Вместе с этим, содержание статьи доказывает, что имеется субъективный фактор, действие которого способствует не только сохранению немецкого этноса в Забайкалье, но и их объединению, основанному на чувстве патриотизма по отношению к России, Забайкалью, а также стремлении возродить здесь национальную культуру и язык. Заинтересованность в возрождении немецкой культуры на территории Забайкалья проявляется в стремлении забайкальских немцев к активному участию в общественной жизни и взаимодействию с максимально широким общественным, этническим и конфессиональным окружением
