Abstract

The situation in a branch of mining industry dealing with the extraction of building materials is analyzed. The article presents the field study results of man-made bodies of water formed in sand and gravel coffins in stream valleys. The main parameters influencing the integration process of a man-made reservoir into the landscape structure are identified. The main factors and their impact degree on the formation of the water body are determined. The recommended section of the coastal strip of a man-made water body is worked out with regard to the exposure of the site.
