The article is devoted to one of the topical issues of the modern terminology synonymy of terms, as well as the studying of peculiarities of the synonymous process in the language of the linguistic ecology. The special attention in the article is paid to the question of the origin of terms-synonyms, the legitimacy of the existence of synonymy in the terminological systems, the objective reasons of the existence of synonyms in the vocabulary, and the special role of the special role of synonyms in the process of recruitment of the terminological systems at the stage of formation, different views on the existence of terms-synonyms, different approaches to the study of the phenomenon of synonymy in the terminological vocabulary. The article says that the phenomenon of synonymy and variance of terms peculiar to the stage of formation of any scientific discipline, is inherent in the linguoecological metalanguage. The nature of the linguistic synonymy in the liguoecology terminological system has common in language orientation and does not lead, as a rule, to the principle of sound distortion in the functioning of the terms-synonyms, and the most important does not cause virtually no communication difficulties in the linguoecological discourse.

Статья посвящена одной из актуальных проблем современного терминоведения – синонимии терминов, а также изучению особенностей синонимического процесса в языке лингвистической экологии. Особое внимание в статье уделяется вопросу происхождения терминов-синонимов, правомерности существования синонимии в терминологических системах, объективным причинам существования синонимов в лексике, особой роли синонимов в процессе пополнения терминосистем на этапе становления, различным взглядам на существование терминов-синонимов, различным подходам к изучению явления синонимии в терминолексике. В статье говорится о том, что явление синонимии и вариантности терминов, свойственное этапу становления любой научной дисциплины, присуще и метаязыку лингвоэкологии. Природа лингвистической синонимии в терминосистеме лингвоэкологии имеет общеязыковую направленность и не приводит, как правило, к принципиальному содержательному искажению при функционировании терминов-синонимов, а самое главное – не вызывает практически никаких коммуникативных затруднений в лингвоэкологическом дискурсе.
