Abstract

Organizational and methodical aspects of population censes conducted in the ancient period of statistics development are considered. In particular, the organizational structure of controlling the activities connected with the statistical survey preparation and carrying out has been studied. As result of censes conducted and described in the Bible chronicles the total tables and diagrams have been made.
