Традиция ряженья в святочном календарно-обрядовом комплексе русского населения Западного Забайкалья

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the traditions of the dressing-up as one of the most ancient in calendar-ritual complex of the Russian population of the Western Transbaikalia. The tradition of dressing-up, as the tradition христославия and of caroling, is very widespread in Russian villages of the Western Transbaikalia. The main features of dressing-up are the change in the external appearance of man and a special play form of behaviour, which has a mythological roots and bears a ritual character.

Статья посвящена исследованию традиции ряженья как одной из древнейших в святочном календарно-обрядовом комплексе русского населения Западного Забайкалья. Традиция ряженья, как и традиция христославия и колядования, имеет очень широкое распространение в русских селах Западного Забайкалья. Основными чертами ряженья являются изменение внешнего облика человека и особая игровая форма поведения, имеющая мифологические корни и носящая ритуальный характер.
