Abstract

The present article describes various types of adaptation, using the responsiveness of brain metabolism in cases of physical and cognitive (emotional) stress as the example. The analysis of different features in adaptational changes of brain was performed among both young patients and elderly patients suffering from predemential cognitive impairments. We tried to evaluate the changes of adaptational mechanism in cases of elderly patients taking into consideration the pathogenesis of pathology formation.
