In article the author analyzes features of development of the Russian constitutionalism in the XIX–XX centuries and definitions its basic principles, just as attempts of their legislative introduction of the XX centuries. The author divides the period into three stages and draws attention to the contradictions that led to the emergence of a Russian constitutionalism at the turn of the epochs of USSR and modern Russia.

Анализируются особенности становления российского конституционализма в XIX–XX вв. и определяются его основные принципы, попытки их законодательного внедрения в XX в. Данный период рассматривается в рамках трёх этапов, исследуются противоречия, которые привели к появлению российского конституционализма на рубеже эпох СССР и новой России.
