Abstract

Results of the investigation of platelet hemostasis link in patients with retinal vein thrombosis are presented. The significance of gene polymorphism of some platelet glycoprotein receptors in ischemic central retinal thrombosis and ischemic branch retinal vein thrombosis is revealed. The necessity to investigate the intravascular platelet activation and the molecular-genetic hemostasis system typing in patients with retinal vein thrombosis under the age of 50 is proved.
