Abstract

At the time of formulation of the hypothesis of bone integrative communication, the original purpose was to assume a functional memory inherent in the bone, that guides every physiological process, both in the development (modelling) and in the processes of remodelling that can occur in several cases. Using of information theory to analyze a communication network and Shannon's entropy, which gives a rise to the same information at a deep level, is an operative corpus in which we can move to assess and predict what the strength of the bone remodelling could be in the same tissue (thanks also to the analysis of values of entropy and free energy of a system consisting of "flexible chains" of information). It is also possible to make an hypothesis of a mechanism that sets the mnemonic complex into the system based on the above.
