Abstract

In the report the collection of Karamzin`s “Letters” shows the context of writer`s creative, of Russian and world literature tradition and its original stimulator of an author`s work concerning “History of Russian government”, which includes many volumes. Author finds out that topicality of international, inter-ethnical, inter-governmental relations, which finds out types of eternal topic of an art, to the 20th century, technology of portrait painting with the usage of national and comparison characteristics, coloristic palette of work with symbiosis of genre forms are the evidence of the role of “Letters by Russian traveler” by Karamzin in development not only Russian, but the world literature in itself.There are some bases for including “Letters by Russian traveler” in more genre and typical model, firstly, model of classic world literature and art and publicist urbanistics, i. e. the range of works, which has images of concrete towns; secondly, the system of documental and art regionalistics, regional geography. Concerning content with historical realities from the life of Western Europe and Russia, not only the ending of the 18th century, the work by Karamzin can be an object of perspective research as historical narration, historical novel in letters.

Собрание «писем» Карамзина рассматривается автором доклада в контексте творчества писателя, русской и мировой литературной традиции. Выявляется роль данного произведения в создании многотомной работы «История государства российского». Актуальность темы межэтнических, межгосударственных отношений, к ХХ веку обретшая черты вечной темы искусства, технология портретной живописи с использованием национально-сравнительных характеристик, колористическая палитра произведения,в основе имеющая симбиоз жанровых форм свидетельство выдающейся роли «Писем русского путешественника» в развитии не только русской, но и мировой литературы.
