Abstract

The paper considers military and social work as a system of educational and institutional activity for implementation of laws and regulations of rights and privileges for conscripts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Some drawbacks of the current state of military and social work have been analyzed. They are as follows: insufficient staffing of officers (engaged as educators) and not taking into account the individual characteristics of recruits as part of recruitment system of the Armed Forces.
