Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of literary pragmatics. The analysis of the novels by Alexei V. Ivanov about the Ural region reveals that creative writing and cultural management in his work are inextricably intertwined, i.e. the literary text develops into socio-cultural activity. The mindset for constructing and establishing cultural identity of the region forms the basis of this unity. The polls taken as a part of the study have shown that Alexei Ivanov's literary works have become widely known among the groups of readers who are both directly and indirectly involved in domestic tourism in the Perm Krai, thus influencing the trends in its development.
