Abstract

This article presents the results of morphological and anatomical study of rhizomes and roots of Solidago caucasica. The main morphological characters of rhizomes and roots of Solidago caucasica there are cylindrical rhizomes with longitudinally striated surface grayish-brown, thin adventitious roots. Anatomical structure rhizome characteristic small amount of cortex, parenchyma cells presented; conduction system of the beam type, collateral beams, open, type staley – eustel. Phloem cells are located over a pericyclic sclerenchyma. Essential oil canaliculus oval, skhizogen origin, located on phloem, the number corresponds to the number conductive beams. For adventitious roots nature of the primary type of structure, wide cortex, essential oil tubules are in pericycle. Phloem is discontinuous ring, the central part is occupied by the root parenchyma and xylem.
